1- What is MobileMasr portal?
MobileMasr is an online marketplace owned by Mobitech Integrated Solutions, a registered Egyptian LLC operating since 2021. MobileMasr specializes in the sale of brand new and used mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches and earbuds. MobileMasr is not a retailer and does not operate stores, all purchased items are shipped directly to you all over Egypt.
2- What are the installment options on MobileMasr portal.
MobileMasr offers a wide range of installment options through partnering with various installment applications ( (تطبيقات التقسيطenabling you to perform the entire transaction on MobileMasr portal if you have a valid and active account with any of the following service providers, ValU, AMAN, Souhoola, Forsa, Contact, Halan and Mogo.
3- What are the type of sellers on MobileMasr portal?
There are currently two types of sellers on MobileMasr, authorized vendors and private sellers. Authorized vendors are reputable mobile shops that are under contract with MobileMasr. All used items sold by authorized vendors are subject to MobileMasr inspection, warranty, and ship nationwide. All items sold by private sellers are not covered by MobileMasr inspection and warranty and are not shipped by MobileMasr. Private sellers have their mobile number listed with their ads and you may contact them directly for any enquiries.
4- What are the installment plans on MobileMasr?
All installment plans that are offered by the various installment providers on MobileMasr are with zero downpayment and zero administrative fees.
5- How much balance should I have to perform an installment transaction on MobileMasr?
You will need to have sufficient balance to cover the total price of the device you are buying, otherwise the transaction will not be successful.
6- Can I make a partial cash payment and pay the remaining balance through installments?
If you would like to make a partial payment, please contact our customer support to help you with the transaction.
7- Can I inspect the item before purchasing?
MobileMasr is an online marketplace and not a retailer, inspecting a used or new item before purchasing is not possible. All used items listed by authorized vendors on MobileMasr come with their original box and are professionally photographed and come with a short video clearly displaying the condition of the device and is covered with MobileMasr 30-day warranty.
8- Does MobileMasr sell refurbished mobile phones?
No, MobileMasr does not allow authorized vendors to sell refurbished mobile phones or smart watches. All mobile phones offered by authorized vendors have been subject to a rigorous inspection process by MobileMasr technical department and come with their original box. We do not allow authorized vendors to sell refurbished phones, or phones that have been dismantled for any kind of maintenance. All used phones are fully inspected and are listed with MobileMasr technical report covering all the main software and hardware functions and come with high resolution pictures and video clearly displaying the condition of the device.
9- Can I request pick up of my order from MobileMasr headquarters?
If you would like to receive your order from MobileMasr headquarters, please contact our customer service with your order number and ask not to deliver the device for shipping. Once your order is ready, our customer care team will call you to schedule your visit to receive your order after sharing all the necessary address and technical team member contact information.
10- I like and an item on the portal, can I reserve it for a few days until I am able to pay for it?
MobileMasr does not have a reservation policy, all items have to be paid for in full prior to shipping to your preferred address.
11- Can I trade-in my device for an item on MobileMasr and pay the difference?
MobileMasr does not have a trade-in policy at the current time.
12- Can I pay with installments using my credit card?
MobileMasr does not offer bank installments. You may purchase the item you want using your credit card and contact your bank directly asking if they have installment plans on the transaction.
13- Do all used mobile phones come with their original accessories?
All items sold by authorized vendors come with their original box. Accessories are considered consumable items, however, MobileMasr does its best to make sure that the accessories provided are original, this not guaranteed specially on older devices. Nevertheless, MobileMasr ensures that the accessories provided are in working order and of adequate quality. Items such as the charger, cable, S pen, or any other accessory depending on the brand and model of the device are not covered by MobileMasr warranty.
14- Does MobileMasr operate a repair service?
No.
15- What is MobileMasr diagnostic technology for used mobile phones and tablets?
MobileMasr is first and foremost a technology company, we have developed a patented diagnostic technology which tests 30 different software and hardware components for every Android, iOS and Huawei phone. Every used phone listed on the portal by authorized sellers comes with a full report and is thoroughly inspected by our highly skilled technical team prior to being shipped. Please take the time to inspect every report listed with every item and review the device’s picture and short video for a full understanding of the condition of the device.
16- What is the 1-year insurance policy on used mobile phones?
As a trusted re-seller of used mobile phones, our insurance partners have pre-approved insurance cover on a wide range of used phones. Mobiles that enjoy insurance are covered for one year against partial or total damage with a 50% deductible. If the mobile you are buying has insurance pre-approval and you wish to purchase an insurance policy, please contact our customer care to explain the steps needed for the insurer to issue the policy in your name.
17- What does MobileMasr 30-day warranty cover for used mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches, and ear buds?
Any used item purchased from authorized vendors comes with a 30-day warranty from MobileMasr. You will find the warranty card issued in your name and stamped along with the device. The 30-day warranty covers any manufacturing defects that may occur during this period that are not caused by misuse. If an item is returned to MobileMasr during the 30-day period, and our inspection has confirmed the defect was not caused by any misuse, you will be refunded in full including any shipping expenses through the same method of payment that was used to purchase the item.
18- How can I return a product to MobileMasr?
Should you have any complaint about any product, you may return it by accessing your account on MobileMasr and opening a complaint asking to return the product. Our customer care team will reach out to you to understand the issue and if necessary, arrange for the item to be picked up and shipped back to MobileMasr for inspection and processing.
19- I want to cancel an existing order which has not yet been shipped.
If you have placed an order and would like to cancel the order prior to shipping. Please access your MobileMasr account and request a cancellation. Our customer care team will reach out to you to process your refund. All cancellation requests (except VISA payments) enjoy a 100% refund if your request is placed within one hour of the time of purchase. Any cancellation requests after the one-hour period will be subject to penalties which very depending on the stage of processing and your method of payment. Any and all visa purchases will be subject to a 3% fee covering the transaction cost. All refunds will be credited back to you within 10 working days.
20- Are the mobile phones listed by authorized vendors on MobileMasr inclusive of the customs and tax?
All used phones on MobileMasr portal are exempted from tax. All new android mobiles come with local 12-month warranty and are tax inclusive.
All new iPhones sold on MobileMasr are tax inclusive. and come with a 12 month Apple international warranty.

22- Why does MobileMasr require a downpayment for buying any item cash on delivery?
For cash on delivery, we require a downpayment of up to 1,000 EGP which is deducted from the price of the phone as a form of confirmation on your purchase request. Should you refuse to take delivery of the item after it was shipped to you, the downpayment will not be refunded.
23- What is the warranty duration on new phones?
All brand-new items sold by authorized vendors come with a 12-month warranty applied by the manufacturer and not MobileMasr. Items with local warranty are serviced by the authorized agent or distributor in Egypt.
24- How long does it take to receive my order from MobileMasr?
MobileMasr ships all orders with reputable multinational companies operating in Egypt. The standard time for receiving your order is up to 3 working days but may take longer depending on the governorate and your location. Orders shipped within greater Cairo and Alexandria usually take 2 working days.
25- Are the prices on MobileMasr portal fixed?
All prices listed on the portal for items sold by authorized vendor are the cash price for the item and are not subject to bargaining or direct contact with the vendor.
26- How can I as a private seller sell my mobile phone or smart watch on MobileMasr portal?
You can list your mobile device or smart watch for sale on MobileMasr by downloading the application and following the simple steps for selling your device.
27- Why the ad that I placed was rejected by MobileMasr?
All ads by private sellers must be reviewed by MobileMasr administrators to ensure your ad complies with our policies regarding the photography and content of your ad. Ads that do not display real pictures of the phone usually get rejected.
28- Can MobileMasr help me know the price of my smartphone or smart watch before offering it for sale?
You can use MobileMasr portal to help you price your item by searching for a similar item on the portal to what you have. All items sold by authorized vendors are enjoy the full services of MobileMasr which include warranty, nationwide shipping, insurance etc… Therefore, it is better as a private seller to price your item at a discount to what you are seeing being sold by authorized vendors.
29-Can I deliver my mobile phone to MobileMasr to be offered for sale on the portal?
If your used mobile phone meets all the criteria that MobileMasr applies on used mobiles, and you would like MobileMasr to sell it on your behalf, contact our customer care and they will schedule an appointment for you with our technical team to come and deliver the item.
30- Can I sell my mobile phone to MobileMasr?
No. MobileMasr is an online marketplace, we don’t buy new or used mobile phones.
